Understanding Mexican White Supremacists

There is an interesting occurrence among many far-right circles of the internet, one that leads to a mix of fanfare and scorn. It’s a trope that has become so commonly known among these communities that it has become an often-referenced joke. That trope is the White Supremacist Mexican, a trope that also applies to other Hispanic communities to a lesser degree. Nick Fuentes, Jon Minadeo, and Latino Zoomer come to mind. At a surface level, people may dismiss this as a form of insecurity and them wanting to be white; after all Latin America started off with Mestizaje and Mejorar la Raza as a part of its caste mobility (Race mixing with Spanish People) and whiteness is heavily valued in those societies as we can see with the criollo elites. While this may be legitimately true for some and I used to believe it, I don’t buy this theory overall. Anglo-American society has allowed and even encouraged the expression of the more indigenous sides of Mexican culture. Although anecdotal on my end, many Chicano intellects seem to be unburdened by the anti-indigenous sentiment that exists further south and so spend a lot greater time looking into Indigenous culture and history, as well as seeking to preserve many of the languages.  There also is a subset of people within the Aridoamerican Plane obsessed with Frida Kahlo who attempted to depict the world through a more Indigenous and Mestizo lens. Instead, I propose a different theory. This is not a culture that forces people to be “White” contrary to what people claim.

I believe this comes from a different source, one in line much more closely to the actual Germanics that many of these said people admire, and one which I believe will determine the future of the continent. Many within that community are well aware that they are both Aztec and Spanish, this is what the Mexican Revolution and subsequent Chicano Movement made abundantly clear. They exist at the end of two spaces, the European and the Indigenous. Unsurprisingly, their consciousness as a unique people rose directly in the heart of the Aridoamerican Plane and the desert expanse, which is the merger of the European and the Indigenous. Despite having every single cultural institution encouraging them to embrace the less “European” side of their heritage, many of these individuals have chosen to subscribe to these views to the point that foreign expats from the world to the Aridoamerican Plane were unable to comprehend it until they saw it.

I believe this trope to be the radicalized outgrowth of a much more basal reality that affects a far greater portion of the Aridoamerican Plane than those who subscribe to these views. Kinship. The people of this land simply identify with their surroundings more than where they came from. Unfortunately, the pervasiveness of Woke Modernity has made it so that the only way you can express kinship or solidarity with Whites or Anglos is through White Supremacism. The Southwest, being a fragment of the broader cultural region, is a land partially built by the hands of their cultural co-ethnics, and the local White Anglos already have some very deep similarities to them due to the shared mythology of the frontier. It was naturally very easy to integrate into this society. It’s also similarly easy for a Dutch person to integrate into Belgian society.

 This was made especially easy by places like New Mexico and Texas being rooted Hispanic/Indigenous entities which had been talking with the broader Anglo system for centuries (Although said Anglos have wronged both on multiple places occasions). When one looks at the rapid assimilation of Mexicans into American culture, this is why. The area they integrated into was one built partially by their hands, fought for by their blood and voices, fed by their people’s labor, one that builds just like them, one which has a similar religion, and one which shares a similar mythos. This is what many technocrat immigration shills miss about this story and use it as an excuse to import people. The Moroccans and Dutch don’t share that much of a cultural continuity, nor do the French and Algerians, and neither do the British and Canadians with their Indians. But here, there is a shared history. The inverse is also true, certain groups within the Aridoamerican Plane act the same with Indigenous culture, including many Chicanos themselves and many of the White Anglos. Both of these occurrences tell the same story.

Suddenly, the synthesis of food, culture, tradition, and architecture exposes the nature of this area. Forms which many within this land espouse with pride as being mixed between the Anglo, Hispanic, and Indigenous cultures. One that we are quickly beginning to see with the land’s demographic structure. One-fifth of Hispanics born today have an Anglo Parent (some suspect it’s as high as a quarter), a number so massive in scale incomprehensible to most until they see it for themselves in Aridoamerica. Many of the Mexican White Supremacists even gave it a name; Castizo Futurism. The inherent nature present here is the blatant antithesis of Huntington’s theory, that the land was damned to being an Israel or Yugoslavia, a fault line at the edge of civilizations fighting. While it’s certainly true the Aridoamerican Plane lies at the edge of the European Civilization and the relics of the Mesoamerica and Spain’s Colonial Project, and is likely to see conflicts as the American Empire falls apart. The sociological processes despite all of this, point to unity rather than ethnic tension. We live decades after the date of the supposed demographic oblivion, and the culture seems happier and healthier than it’s ever been; and one which will continue to define its forms. Its enemy lies with the technics that abuses the land. We are seeing new ethnic groups develop within this new continuum. Castizos, Mestizos, Amerindians, and relic White-Americans alike likely to create new ethnicities descendent of them. All of these people are continuing to become more similar to each other, and alien to those outside the plane.

Americans are the Latins, that much has been established by the chattering class. However, Mexicans are America’s Germanics. An internal proletariat dedicated to the preservation of the old society, while clawing back against its oppressive elements and making said culture their own, and to their own taste. Much like the Germanics who held the Roman Empire for as long as they could until they realized it was a rotting parasitic corpse which destroyed its people. It’s these people that insist on protecting Western Civilization, and American Culture. They are the ones increasingly in our military, they are the ones becoming new cultural dynamos, they are the ones building social capital, it is they who are feeding us. If they were a separate nation-state (and indeed their population warrants one), they would rival many Western European countries for most infrastructural and quality-of-life elements while remaining true to their culture. They own land, and will certainly get wealthier. 

The men and women of the Aridoamerican Plane are the descendents of Apache Raiders, Aztec Warriors, Romans, Conquistadors, and Cowboys and should not be underestimated. When Charlemagne clawed back Western Europe from its dark ages, he approached the ossified Byzantines insisting that he had unified Rome. The Byzantines looked at him as if he was crazy. He was a Germanic Barbarian, he could hardly speak any Latin, and his Carolingian Experiment wasn’t Rome. The ossified Greece which had become a parody of the Romans would never accept a Germanic as a Roman. We very much are seeing the same thing with how the decedent ossified Westerners scoff at the idea that a Mestizo could hold up Euro-American Culture. Maybe they cannot, but the fact they’re trying tells the story. Europe is rapidly approaching Byzantium, an Americanized shell incapable of much but to form its world around things created by the Americans, but living an existence despite that. 

The Mexican White Supremacist is an exaggerated outgrowth of simple reality, they identify with and fight for the dying gasps of the old Western culture, and alongside people overseeing the end of that story. Their position may not make sense from the older Western lens, but it does from a new cultural lens and reality currently forming that includes them, the Anglos, and the Indigenous. They should be aware that their mystical longing for Rome and Tenochtitlan, for the European and the Indigenous, and the vast deserts of their home, is the path to a new destiny entirely. We Anglos are a part of this journey like the Italians and their Western European story. However, what the Mexicans and the Indigenous choose to do based on the unique demands of the land is up in the air, but the path for them is clear for them to radiate outward.
