There is nothing more zeitgeisty of our modern discourse right, left, center, neoliberal, communist, fascist, etc. than the cultish obsession with interracialism. It feels like you see it everywhere no matter your political views. There often is a stigmatized obsession involving Whites and Africans, a theme consistent in a lot of Western media and shilled to high hell. Whether you call it the Kalergi Plan, the future of humanity, or something else, many have a cultish obsession with interracial marriages in modern discourse. Many have even made it their fetish. A famous internet meme in online far-right circles called “Amerimutt” is the epitome of this obsession. While interracial marriages have become more common, their impact is often exaggerated. Many people in the broader West still stick to their own due to biological in-group bias. America isn’t exempt from this. In fact, it has the same interracial marriage rates as Britain at around 10% of the overall population. Other Western countries like the cosmopolitan France likely have similar intermarriage rates to Britain and America too. Similarly, in racially tense places such as South Africa, only about 1% of South Africans interracially marry. Meanwhile, Western Europe’s interethnic marriages are likely slightly lower than America, Britain, or France. Ironically, America would probably have the same rates as these less enthused European countries if it weren’t for one area.
Cross the Mississippi and West of the 100th Meridian, and you find the reason the US national average is closer to Britain and France than continental Europe. In the vast desert expanses of the Aridoamerican plane, that reality shifts almost entirely. An often unspoken fact is that today, the national average of 20% of all Hispanics born in the US today have a White Anglo parent. When one sees the white shrinkage of this last census, a lot of it isn’t white entropy but due to more people identifying as “In combination.” These “Mixed Race” White Anglos by pure statistical chances are Anglo/Mestizo as that marriage combination makes up a plurality of interracial marriages. And now we shift our attention to the Aridoameircan Plane fully. The interracial marriage Euro-American average of around 5-10%. However, In borderland Aridoamerican states where the demographic profile is mainly Anglo and Hispanic, it shifts to 20-30% and this is across many independent studies. More anecdotal people living in the Southwest tell you it could be as high as 40% in some areas. This is the basal reality referenced in the Understanding Mexican White Supremacists article. Although incomprehensible to the proper Western world, these marriage rates and likely subsequent birth rates show us how this society truly is, rather than what is depicted. This reality shows massive amounts of internal social cohesion. White America here isn’t dying, a race that feels increasingly threatened by the expanding mestizos and re-asserting Indo-Hispano culture, it’s evolving and joining them. Land trumps Race. More specifically, Land is Race and the ossified Anglo model was a pseudomorphosis.
To understand the implications of this. One must look at Mexico itself. Many of us think of Mexico as a primarily Mestizo nation. However, this is remarkably new in the history of Mexico. For the earlier parts of Mexican history, Mexico was primarily a white aristocracy overlooking an indigenous population while mestizos were rarer intermediary positions in La Casta system. Mestizos did exist in much larger numbers in the Desert frontier however due to Spanish and Mestizo migrants settling aspects of what is today the Southwest and Northern Mexico. Mexico however went through a demographic shift stretching from 1840 to 1890. In a three-decade period, brought about by South European immigration and the decay of colonial era barriers, we would see Mexico go from a primarily White/Indio society to a Mestizo one. Mexico reached majority Mestizo in 1890. What makes this event important isn’t the demographic shift itself, but what came immediately after.
In 1910, just two decades after Mestizos became the majority of Mexico, certain social frictions of the now-ossified Spanish Colonial system came to a boiling point and Mexico fell into its massive revolution, which could be better understood as a point of self-actualization. While some of its biggest revolutionaries like Zapata sought out agrarian reforms due to the ossified colonial system, Zapata was one of the great men who helped bring forth what could be considered the Mestizo Ethnogenesis. This revolution had multiple implications. The first is the obvious aspect of Mexico as a national identity. However, the other aspect comes from this event likely starting Aridoamerica’s Pre-Culture period or at least setting the stage for that eventual journey. Not only did the American Empire fail to penetrate this area at a point of imperial ascendancy and young men willing to die in wars, but we also saw multiple preliminary events play out immediately afterward. First, you begin to see a long and continuous expansion of Mexicans back up into the Southwest, a trend that did not falter until 2008. Second, was an explosion of artistic traditions, philosophy with figures such as Jose Vasconcelos, and architectural expression; one which echoed massively across the other side of the Mexican Border. The song of this revolution got the previously humiliated and brutalized Nuevomexicanos and Tejanos to link up with these newer Mexicans many of whom were refugees of this event, including members of the hyper religious Cristero movement. Through the prophetic guidance of people like Reies Tijerina helped launch the Chicano Movement which in many ways was the same spiritual movement as what happened further south. In a contrary stance to the then dominant model of that age’s Eurocentrism, this great awakening looked to indigenization and Indio-Rootedness as a standard.
The rate of intermixture in the borderland states today mirrors the Mestizo’s rise to the majority in Mexico. “Castizo Futurism” as described by the Mexican White Supremacists, is the innate reality Aridoamerica is moving towards. One-fifth of Hispanics born today have a white parent, a number astronomically skewed by the Southwest which likely means both the Mestizo and the White populations in the Southwest are over-counted, especially amongst the young. An entire generation of Texans, New Mexicans, Arizonans, Coloradans, and Californians who make up a substantial portion of this land are a part of America’s true great demographic transition. What happens as these Anglo-Mestizos become a larger part of the population? How will the broader much more purist Atlantic-American population handle this? While it’s true local frontier Anglos are well immersed in the transition, some of those further east have begun to question if the Southwest is American at all. There is a now very common trope of midwesterners fretting about the Southwestern demographics much more than actual Anglo Southwesterners. Top that with the purity spiraling of one drop rule and increasing spite from these people towards Amerindian culture, and you get an Atlantic-American population set on alienating these people. What happens when this young Castizo generation witnesses their alienation from the Atlantic and the ossified Anglo system? The spirit of Zapata and Villa, prophesied by Vasconcelos and Tijerina, will re awaken in the Southwest. The last great awakening came from Northern Mexico, and migrated north with the migrants subsequently. Now it seems the American Southwest is set on carrying that torch for itself.
Underneath our feet, we are beginning to feel the earth shake. A giant obscured to us by our culture war distractions is beginning to awaken among all the young of the American West. The hyper utopian (or dystopian) cult of race mixing in Western discourse, often a product of Atlantic America’s (Plus the European Regimes stretching as far back as the Soviets and 1920s French shilling it to sting the US) obsession of the White/Black zero sum binary mentality obscures the well-hidden reality. What is happening in the US portions of the Aridoamerican Plane is not the cult of race mixing pushed by megalopolitans, it’s something far more ancient, and far more embodied by the locals than the top. People meet people, via the law of the interconnected frontier and geography. Cultural, Social, Aesthetic, and Architectural developments often precede physical human changes like the receding water before a tsunami. This place has been Hispanic and Indigenous-influenced as far back as the day the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was signed. Rising from the great desert expanse, fueled like a supercharged engine by the souls of the White, the Amerindian, and the Mestizo; The Aridoamerican Race is awakening. There is only one way these sociological processes end, and that’s ethnogenesis. The Germans, Irish, Italians, French, English, Spanish, and Nordics rose out of the singularity of the Roman/Germanic synthesis; now we are seeing the same play out again underneath the eyes of the American Metropole. The Aridoamerican race isn’t fictional. It isn’t the product of postmodern utopianism or fetish. It’s a physical material reality moving on us with a force. Its full awakening is not an if or should, but a when. How the Anglo Empire responds to the awakening of these people is likely to be one of the closing acts of American History.
